Swim Zone Morrinsville is now open for the season!

Summer opening hours:

Weekdays
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 6am-7pm
Aqua Classes take place from 10-10.45am on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Wednesday: 6am-6pm

Weekends
Saturday-Sunday: 10am-5.30pm

Please note that pools are cleared 15 minutes before closing every day. 

Christmas hours
24 Dec: 10am-4pm
25-26 Dec: Closed
27-30 Dec: 10am-5.30pm
31 Dec: 10am-4pm
1-2 Dec: Closed
3 Dec: 10am-5.30pm

2025 lanes closures
Sometimes we close off lanes for swimming lessons, but we always have at least one lane up for lane swimmers and two lanes for free play during bookings.

Mondays: ½ learner pool closed from 3.30-5.30pm
Tuesdays: Lane 1, 5 & 6: Closed from 3.30-6.30pm
Wednesdays: ½ learner pool closed from 3.30-5.30pm
Thursdays: Lanes 1, 5 & 6: Closed from 3.30-6.30pm

• Friday 28 November 9am-12pm - two lanes in the main pool will be closed
• Monday 8 December 9am-3pm - all pools closed
• Friday 19 December 3.30-5.30pm - toddler pool closed

2026 lanes closures

• Monday 5 January 10am-12pm - two lanes in the main pool will be closed
• Tuesday 13 January 7-9am - four lanes in the main pool will be closed
• Wednesday 14 January 7-9am - four lanes in the main pool will be closed
• Saturday 17 January 7-9am - four lanes in the main pool will be closed
• Monday 19 January 7-9am - four lanes in the main pool will be closed
• Wednesday 21 January 7.30-10am and 4-6pm - two lanes in the main pool will be closed 

Inflatable Toys

Small inflatables are available.   

Large obstacle course inflatable may be available upon booking request.

 

Main Pool

Our main pool is (50m x 15.5m) - it's the only olympic length pool in the district and is home to the Morrinsville Swimming Club. The water is heated, usually around 26-28 degrees - the perfect temperature to play, but not too hot for a good workout! This pool is always supervised by qualified lifeguards, and has a ramp for disabled access to and from the pool.

 

Toddler Pool

The toddler pool is ideal for kids of any age - the shallow pool depth means young ones can safely play in the water without getting out of their depth. This pool is also heated, meaning kids will stay and play in the pool for longer. This pool is supervised by lifeguards, but we ask for parents to stay within arm's reach of their children at all times.

 

Learner Pool

We also have a smaller pool (15.5m x 6.2m) ideal for learning to swim and playing.
